Be one of the rare few to have an EnTactus Original Artwork in your personal collection! Casey puts upwards of 100 hours (or more) into each of his Divine feminine portraits, and that's just the painting part of the process! Including the entire process from initial concept to finding the right model, photo shoot, editing the final reference photo and more, these portraits often exceed 200+ hours of creative work devoted to each individual painting! The entire process can take 3 months or more for Casey to complete beginning to end! To the Artist, this original painting is nothing less then a unique and spectacular treasure he dug for meticulously for by hand and heart alone, so that it can be shared with the world!

About the Art:

Medium/Technique:

PAVED CANVAS: This is a process of preparing the canvas, unique to Casey's work. Casey begins each Paved Canvas painting by applying a proprietary blend of Acrylic paint, Latex medium and sand. Casey often sources his sand directly from the beautiful beaches of Florida, where EnTactus Studio located! After meticulously cleaning the sand (we know this sounds silly but Casey Ensures us is important for the longevity of the painting), the blend is mixed and applied to the canvas, laying the foundation for the meticulous detail work to come later.

Once the paved Canvas has fully cured, Casey applies a series of ink and acrylic washes to make the texture more visually pronounced. It is only after this step that the truly masterful detail work begins. Using a combination of India ink and acrylic paint, Casey begins to paint in the figure starting with the vague shape and working his way layer by layer toward progressively finer and finer details. The most detailed areas of the paintings often taking 20 layers or more to get the intricate details that have become a signature of EnTactus Art and Casey's work. After 100 or more hours of detail work, and only once Casey has reached the limit of his ability does Casey call the work complete by signing it.
